Pure devotee's service. It is only favorable.
Bhakata seva parama siddhi
What is siddhi? Siddhi is bhakata seva.
Prema latikara mula
It is the root of the prema creeper. Prema is a creeper. It will grow. It will cross all places in this world, in these fourteen worlds. It will go beyond that and still it goes beyond, it goes to Brahmaloka and goes to Vaikuntha and after Vaikuntha it reaches Goloka.
krsna carana kalpa vrkse kare arohana
Then it will go around this Krishna tree. Then it will give prema - divine love. Divine love you can get. To achieve divine love one must do bhakata seva, parama siddhi, suddha bhakata.
suddha-bhakata-carana-renu
bhajana-anukula
bhakata-seva, parama-siddhi
prema-latikara mula
It is the root of this prema creeper. Because the suddha bhakata. Who is the suddha bhakta? Suddha bhakta is who has no desire of anything in this world. In these fourteen worlds whatever is available he doesn't want. And it crosses fourteen worlds and it goes to Brahmaloka. That also he doesn't want. And it goes to Vaikuntha. And after Vaikuntha it goes to Goloka. And then it will have the blessing of this prema. Suddha bhakta wants nothing but Krishna prema. Prema. As the developed stage of devotion is called prema. If the devotion develops regularly and seriously, and it is proper development, it must reach Krsna. That is the aim of a pure devotee. A pure devotee only wants the love.
na dhanam na janam na sundarim
kavitam va jagadisa kamaye
I don't want anything of this world. Man or woman or property or knowledge or anything if offered to him he doesn't want. He wants only pada seva
"I want the service of your lotus feet." That is devotion. Devotion is the aim of a devotee. Devotee does not take material world's wealth and knowledge and any opulence. Anything. He doesn't want.

Now Vritrasura and Citraketu.
He says: "I don't want the place of Indra and the place of Brahma."
na naka-prstham na ca paramesthyam na sarva-bhaumam
"And the whole worlds, fourteen worlds, emperorship I don't want. Nor I want freedom from the influence of Maya. "I should not have rebirth again" – that also I don't want."
"What do you want?"
"I want you. I want you."
Nobody in this world, if he comes to a deity, wherever he goes he asks. What he asks? He asks something of this world. But a devotee doesn't want it. He says: "I want you only". But many people come to the God and pray to God, perform penance, go under hard labor, what for? To get some boon. To get some result.
Dhruva. He performed. Young boy. Six months. Reducing his food daily for six months and at the end of six months the Lord will be. He can understand through a glimpse of the heart. The heart will be very full of light. Then he should open the eyes and see the Lord standing there. And he should ask what he wants.
But, when he saw the Lord his heart became pure. No desires are there. When the Lord put conch shell on his head, touched his head, he got perfect knowledge. Now he says: "I don't want anything. I don't want."
svamin krtartho ’smi varam na yace
"My God, by your blessings I got the gem. If I have the gem why should I be roaming here and there struggling hard.
sthanabhilasi tapasi sthito 'ham
"I started my penance only for the throne of my father. Because the father never allowed me to sit on the throne. Listening to Suruci, my stepmother, he never allowed me to sit on the throne. Suruci's son Uttama is sitting. Why shall I not sit? I am only the person who should sit on the throne. Why should she not allow me?"
The father never talked. He kept quiet.
Then he said: "I will go." Weeping he came to Suniti and told the story. And Suniti said: "Yes, you are born to an unfortunate personality. How can you sit on the throne?"
"How shall I sit?"
"You must worship the Lord. And the Lord is kind enough. Then you can sit."
"How to get the Lord? Where does he live? "
"Many rishis perform long penance for which they got the blessing of the Lord. And you could reach what you wanted."
"Now you are a young boy. What can you do? After you grow up, after some age you can perform penance. But not now. Don't go to a forest. All the beasts will eat you away."
"No, no. I will go. I will go. Why do you tell me this? I will go. No question of youth. I will go."
Then he went and performed tapas. Narada also wanted to dissuade him not to go to penance. But he never heard. He went. Narada said: „If you do penance then every day you must take this much food. For one month this much and next month half of it and third month half of it. Like this you must reduce. At the end of six months nothing. At the end of six months you will get the Lord, seeing in your body, inside, some light you will see. And open your eyes. The Lord standing before you and ask whatever you want.“
Now he saw the Lord but could not ask anything. Shanka was placed on his head. Then he said stotra. Very important stotra is recited. And the Lord said:
"What do you want?"
"I don't want anything."
"No. You have come here to get your father's throne. You will get your father's throne. Your father is coming now. Entirely he will give the throne to you and he will go to tapas. You can be the monarchial for 36000 years. And then I will give you a place near Vaikuntha. That is Dhruvaloka. There you will stay. You need not come to this world again."
So now he gave there, and he enjoyed the throne for 36000 years and after that he came to this loka.
No desires. Impurity will be there as long as we desire of the worldly things. If you want the moon or if you want anything, all these things, only you will develop impurity.
Na dhanam
I don't want wealth. Any sort of wealth.
Na janam.
Even children. No. Or anything to enjoy. No. And now to have an attachment with this knowledge. No.
"What do you want?"
"I don't want anything."
na dhanam na janam na sundarim
kavitam va jagadisa kamaye
"O Jagadisha, I want only you. You please bless."
This is the slokam uttered by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in his siksastakam.
na dhanam na janam na sundarim
kavitam va jagadisa kamaye
mama janmani jamanisvare

"Let me have devotion towards you. I don't want anything."
It is done. Now he got it.
The same thing was repeated by Mahaprabhu in his siksastaka. "I don't want anything of this world. I want the devotion." Even, the same thing was repeated by Prahlada:
"I don't want anything."
"What do you want?"

"Wherever I go, wherever I may take my birth. There I may be a human, or maybe a beast, or a bird, or an insect, and born in heaven or born in hell and suffering. Whatever it is I will accept it. I don't want anything new for the enjoyment. I want only devotion. Every birth let me serve you. I want service, service, service."

"You will come to me. You will come to me. Not that you will be one with me." That is, who says: "I am. So 'ham. I am. So 'ham. "
No. No. „I don't want to be: „I am so 'ham“. I want to be daso 'ham. I want to be your dasa.“ Dasa is servant. So ham is master. „If I am the Lord, I am the Lord. I am the monarch. I don't want to be a monarch. I want to be your servant. Servant, servant, servant.“ Not only servant:
tvad-bhritya-bhritya-paricaraka-bhritya-bhritya
bhrityasya bhritya iti mam smara loka-natha
I am your servant, and his servant, and his servant, and his servant, and his servant. Till I have: „You come to me“ it will be the last one. No others kept there. And please accept one after another. One above other, one above other, one above other. The last is the Lord. Last footprints – his lotus feet. And I come devoted at the lotus feet in mood of service. And that devotee, another devotee, third devotee he also worships. Third devotee or fourth devotee worships. And fortieth or fiftieth devotee worships. I can have a chance, only last chance. I cannot do the service of the Lord because there are so many servants. Let them do. Let them say: "Fellow, you will do. You come now." So, at last I have to. But now, if I say that I am the last one, then nobody will fight with me. They will: "do. Let them do." Nobody to fight. I must be a devotee of devotees of devotes of devotees of devotees of devotees, all hundreds and thousands of devotees, let them enjoy. Let them enjoy his service. I don't want. And if they allow me, the last attempt, I will do, and do the little service I can do it. I should not boast. I should not be proud because I am his servant. No. One should not be proud. If one should be proud he will go to hell.
kama esa krodha esa

They devour whole world. Kama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada, matsarya. The six enemies they will say svaha. Whatever is available in this world they say svaha. Will take away. If I can give up their association, if I give up their orders, and if I am free from their orders and free from their overlording, they are now availing, availing the opportunity for one to engage me in their service. I will never do their service. O Lord, I now have realized that I will never do the service of these fellows. You are only my master. Now I have accepted six masters. None I can able to satisfy. Not one master can be satisfied. Six masters. One says: "No, you listen to me", also he says "Listen to me", he says "Listen to me", he says "Listen to me", he says "Listen to me". From six sides they are dragging him. One person if he is dragged six sides, where will he go? Kama says: "Carry my order." "I shall do it." Then in the night, sleeping night, it wakes you up: "Get out. Do this". Then krodha. If he doesn't get it, then krodha, anger will come and will say: "You follow me. Do this." But you cannot satisfy it. Lobha. Boy, he has enjoyed so much but still wants more. No satisfaction. And forgetfulness. Though he suffers, he forgets. Then arrogance. And arrogance. "I.I. I and mine. I and mine." And last is called malice. These masters they are just like:
Kamadinam kati na katidha
palita durnidesah
"O Lord, I have followed the dictations of Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada and Matsarya." Though I carried their orders I could not please them. They are not pleased with my service. Though I do 24 hours their service they say: "No. You do more." Now I think I have no shame. I am shameless rascal. So I do the service of these rascals. They want me to do this. I never hate it. I do it. And at last I realized: "you fellow you are shameless."I will never do the service of these rogues. From today onwards I will do your service. Lord! You are my master. I will please you. If I do little service you will be pleased. Though I do 24 hours service, these rascals, these masters more they have to eat. Could not satisfy the masters.” But it will be:
patram puspam phalam toyam

"The surrendered soul if he gives a leaf, a water, a fruit a flower I will eat. I will eat it!"
"No you are not a beast to eat all fruit and leaf."
"Yes! I must come to that position. As my devotee offered it. Whatever he gives I will take. If he gives a poison I will take."
But the poison will never affect the Lord. Even if a devotee, if he was given poison, poison will never affect him. Because they have got the capacity. And they have surrendered to the Lord. Surrendered. Lord will protect his life.
"So now, I think I will do your service and be happy.”
Hare Krishna. Now we must do his service. Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna! Don't sleep. Don't sleep. This is nectar. How could you get sleep? This is nectar. It will give you life. Though you want to die, you will never die. It will save you. Hari katha.

Those who are listening here hearing the stories of the Lord, the pastimes of the Lord. Those pastimes like nectar will give life to all. And they will be free from the influence of this Maya. For nothing he is fighting. For nothing he is running after it. No. When he actually hears the teachings of the Lord through some Vaisnava, pure Vaisnava, then it will help him like a nectar. He will be free from taking this poison. What is that poison? Whatever you take, whatever service you do in the name of service kama, service krodha, service moha and lobha and arrogance. These are all not my friends. They can only be compared with a poison. I am giving poison and receiving poison. Now I am in poison. This poison will be destroyed. When I hear nectar poison can go away. If you have a drop of nectar then you will never die. But so much of poison will kill you. But so much of nectar will never kill you - it will make you alive. You can become immortal. Now mortal - you will die. But you take nectar: immortal. No death. Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna.
