There will be benefit. He will have all the benefits. Not only one benefit, all the benefits. Physically, mentally, socially, financially, logically, philosophically. In all respects he will enjoy. Because it is transcendental.
What is the meaning of transcendental?
Transcendental is that which cannot be understood, which cannot be realized throughout our senses. Adhoksaja. All the senses - with ears we hear, with eyes we see, with nose we smell, with tongue we speak and taste, and with skin we touch. These are the five organs which bring knowledge. Suppose the ant is walking on your body. You do not see that, but when you are sleeping then immediately you get up:
"O, something is there."
And by hearing sounds you obtain knowledge. By seeing through eyes you obtain knowledge. This scenery, this sound, and the taste, and by smelling we can understand. But all these senses are unfit. That transcendental knowledge is not accessible through them. They cannot understand about the transcendental knowledge, which is beyond their reception, beyond their understanding, beyond their realization. They cannot realize it.
Whatever we realize, whatever we hear or see - it is only limited about the matter. But this is not the matter. It is spiritual. That spiritual which cannot be understood by you, by me, by him. It cannot be seen by him. It cannot be heard by him, or by you, or by me.
How can you understand that? If you apply all your senses, and with these senses if you cannot understand, then how can you understand? How can you understand?
You can understand only if we surrender to him and he blesses us. Through his blessing we can understand. No other way. No other way. To know the transcendental science means, all these scientist's laboratories they cannot establish the truth. This is truth. What they found, through their science, it is not real truth. It is transitory, moving truth. But real truth which cannot be diminished, which cannot expand, which can be as it is always. As it is. To realize the Lord as it is, he must bless you.
What is that blessing?
Blessing means, suppose a blind man or one who became blind. Who wrote Krishna-karnamrita? Bilvamangala. First he was having attachment with harlot. In the dark and rainy night he crossed the river with the help of a corpse floating on the river. And he reached the harlot's house. She was sleeping on the 1st floor. And now, he wanted to go. How can he go? He saw a rope, and he got that rope and went inside. And now she says:
"How is it? Why you have come? You forgot your death. Now you embraced your death. To embrace me you have come. You did not care about your death. And you came with a support of a corpse. How could you come here?"
"I saw rope was there."
With a lamp she saw.
"No rope. A serpent is there."
Big serpent. And he caught hold of serpent and ...
"Then you forgot everything and, that attachment for me that you have got, if you can have that attachment towards the Supreme Lord Krishna, you could have made your life sublime."
Then immediately he did not touch her. And he went to a sannyasi and took sannyasa from him. And he saw:
"These eyes are the main cause of my attachment to this world. I will blind myself."
He became blind. When he became blind, but internal aspiration is to see Krishna, to realize Krishna. "Where is Krishna?" Long separation. Just like Radha was weeping, weeping. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was weeping for 18 years in that small room in Puri, like Radha. To obtain the mercy of the Lord Krishna he also performed that penance, and at last he wrote Krishna-karnamrita.
He become blind. He came to Vrindavan. In Vrindavan he stayed 800 years. He was always repeating Krishna-karnamrita and Lord Krishna used to sit by him. He has no eyes but he knows, in it, in it, in it he sees:
"Yes. My Lord is here. I see my Lord."
marah svayam nu madhura-dyuti-mandalam nu
madhuryam eva nu mano-nayanamrtam nu
veni-mrjo nu mama jivita-vallabho nu
krsno 'yam abhyudayate mama locanaya
"I see with my eyes the Lord Krishna is standing here."
He was repeating. Very lucidly he explained. It is only nectar. It is called "Nectar to Krishna's ears," not to our ears. Even Krishna was anxious to hear those sounds. He used to sit. When he sings he used to sit there.
And he says:
"Where do you want to go?"
"I want to go to that place."
"Take the stick."
And he lead him to that place. And he said:
"You stay here. I will go."
"O yes. I have no strength to fight with you. But I have tied you in my heart. I will never leave you to go out."
"How long will you keep me?"
"Millions and millions of kalpas you must stay. I have tied you. It is the punishment, that you have committed theft, the whole life. You have committed theft, so it is a punishment. I caught hold of you. Now I have tied you in my heart. I will never leave you."
But he is talking to Krishna. He is seeing Krishna. Though he has no eyes. It is transcendental. No eyes - he sees Krishna. Eyes are not the medium to see the Lord. Lord must give me inner sight. Inner sight. And though a blind man, he can see the whole world. He can see everything. The spiritual world and the material world. The activities in the spiritual world, activities in the material world - both he can realize.
How can we understand it?
nayam atma pravacanenea labhyo
It is Upanishad. It is Vedic culture. Our Veda says:
nayam atma pravacanenea labhyo
By argument you cannot understand.
Na medhaya
One who has got intelligence, or good brain, and the good remembrance - he cannot.
Na medhaya na bahuna srutena
A great philosopher who knows the philosophy - western and eastern philosophies - he also cannot know.
Who can know?
yam evaisa vrnute tena labhyas
Who wants it and who surrenders to it, and to whom the Lord blesses, he, through his blessings, he can understand.
First we must surrender. Surrender means:
"My mind, my ego, my body, my whole family, my father, my mother, my wife, my children, my brothers, my buildings - everything I have surrendered to you. Now you are my master. Whatever you ask me to do I will do. I will carry out your orders (inaudible) by heart."
And bhagavan says... When one surrenders to the Lord, then the Lord says:
"Yes. Because you have surrendered completely to me, without any reservation or without any condition..."
Surrender must be unconditional. If any condition is there, yes, he can fulfill your condition, but you cannot get the transcendental knowledge. If you understand the transcendental knowledge you don't want anything. The emperorship of the whole world is given to you. You reject it.
"I don't want it"
na naka-prstham na ca paramesthyam
na sarva-bhaumam na rasadhipatyam
na yoga-siddhir apunar-bhavam va
18 types of mystic siddhis are there, and one can become free from Maya, or become as a mukta, or he can have the salvation, but that also he doesn't want.
"What do you want?"
"I want you."
Even a devotee, when mukti is offered to him, and bhukti - all sorts of enjoyments are offered to him.
"No bhukti. No mukti."
"What do you want?"
"I want you."
He is bhakta. He will realize. He has transcendental sight through which he can see, he can talk with Krishna, receive inspiration from Krishna. Movement, everything will be like guided by Krishna.
Krishna is the slave to him. If I become a slave of Krishna, Krishna in return reciprocates. Becomes, yes, like this.
When the gopies came to Krishna hearing the flute then Krishna said:
"Yes, you have come. Now you have seen me. You go home."
"Where is our home? Where is our home!? You are our home. And when we were out in the forest, then also we remembered you always. We serve our children, we serve the calves, we serve the cows, we milk, we milk, every service we will do and always we remember you."
Man mana bhava. Mad bhakto bhava. Mad yaji bhava
"We are always remembering you only. So now, you said that. Where is our home? Our home is yours lotus feet. Wherever we may be we always remember you. Now you said: "Go." Where? Where shall we go back? And you told:"
na ca punar avartate
"Those who come to me, they will never return back."
"Now you are throwing us away."
Then he said:
"I have tested you. I cannot repair your service, what you have done. Renunciation you showed, that you have so much renunciation, discarded everything a man cannot do. You have collectively discarded all the attachments towards your children, towards family members, towards you property, your cows, your bodies."
Because when they heard the sound, tumbled dressing also. So dressing also not complete. They were not complete. In the warrant, like magistrate warrant, you come, definitely no appeal, no time, no time will be given to you. Like that they come.
They could understand. They could understand. They repeat always theirs gopi-gitam.
tava kathamrtam tapta-jivanam
kavibhir iditam kalmasapaham
sravana-mangalam srimad atatam
bhuvi grnanti ye bhuri-da janah
They always repeat the glories of the Lord. They are happy in repeating glories of the Lord. That is the nectar.
Spiritual reciprocation between a devotee...
sadhavo hrdayam mahyam sadhunam hrdayam tv aham
The Lord says:
"I am the heart of Sadhus. And Sadhu is my heart."
Also reciprocates. If one surrenders, the Lord says:
"I will surrender."
So you come. How long to that place?
Gopikantha prabhu: 40 km.
Guru Maharaja: Only?
Gopikantha prabhu: Yes.
Guru maharaja: (somebody comes) Welcome. Thanks. You have entertained them. Sadhu seva. Sadhu service. Of devotees. Service to devotees is superior to service of God. Now you have served devotees. Hare Krishna.
