Today, we are happy to see you. All devotees of one cult. The cult is devotional cult. As Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who said
sri chaitanya prabhum vande.......karatah(verse 2:25)
We can obtain anything we want. And the supreme thing is prema. Krishna prema which was distributed by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda prabhu and other vaisnavas. Now, we follow the same cult. So, with pure heart surrendering at the feet of these Gurus, Vaisnavas and Lord Chaitanya, Gauranga. Many others have distributed many things. They have distributed up to Bhuloka, Bhuvarloka, Svarloka, Maharloka, Janaloka, Tapoloka, Satyaloka - 7 worlds. Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says: superior to seven worlds. If you go there you need not come back to this nasty world or the worlds, 7 worlds. Because, there will be always rotation of these worlds. If you enter to these worlds again you have to rotate. But if you follow Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and practice devotion by nama-sankirtan, the supreme method adopted by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. There is no other process except nama-sankirtanam. Especially he introduced nama-sankirtan and since then the whole world is now repeating nama-sankirtan. Who has done that? It is Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's blessings. Through his blessing now everywhere, everywhere through the world people are saying Rama Krishna, Hare Krishna, Govinda Krishna, Madhava Krishna, Nrisimha Krishna or Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Now we have to follow, we have to submit ourselves to the lotus feet of Gauranga and to the channel of all the Gauranga bhaktas. Through their kind blessings we can able to reach the top of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's Krishna prema. Krishna prema is direct link between ourselves and Lord Krishna. Direct link. You need not go through others, but go direct. If you follow other methods you may not able to reach Lord Krishna. Though you'll reach Lord Krishna it is not the confidential way. It is only the supernatural way or he as a guide, we have to get his only, just like Arjuna sought the guide of Krishna, Krishna. He went to Krishna. It is not Mahaprabhu's. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu spoke about that. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says the confidential, the confidential way of worship. Through harinama-sankirtan you will go direct to Lord Krishna. Krishna, not of supernatural Krishna. It is Krishna who is like ourselves. Who is a human being and various types of Bala-Krishna. You worship Bala-Krishna how? Not by folded hands. You play with him. You beat him. Just like our Nanda Maharaja and Yashoda. Though Yashoda was mother could you dream about Krishna's beating, mother? No. Krishna there is baladi avasta. It is eternal for those devotees. Those devotees; gopis. They always see Krishna, only Krishna. In different forms of Krishna. It is prema. Both. Krishna and gopis, Krishna and the boys, sakhas; they are the purest method of worship, purest method of. It is not like Dharmaraja, Yudisthira Maharaja and other rishi's and muni's worship. This sort of worship is prema. That prema was taught by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Nobody else. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu though he was the Supreme Lord Krishna yet he was born to worship Krishna in the confidential way. It is Prema. And if it is supernatural method you cannot achieve the same Krishna. Krishna will be there. So the Gita's teachings of Krishna is different. And Chaitanya caritamrita's Krishna's teaching is different. The approach different. Therefore we can receive blessings of Krishna. In that way always prema is there. But here prema is there but it is not confidential. Little supernatural or little, what you call matter? Little grace¸ little grace? That maryadam. It is called maryadam. Not prema - maryada. The whole world now is, worship is maryada, not prema. He doesn't know. Maryada means reverential way of worship. Reverential way with folded hands and do flowers and this and that, they come and offer arcana. Puja, arcana. Sravana, kirtana, smarana, arcana, vandana, dasya, sakya, atma-nivedana. Navada bhakti. This navada bhakti - there are confidential way of worship is taught and the reverential way is taught. Reverential way, it is Hanuman worshiping Ramacandra. Akrura worshiping Krishna. It is mixed. And sankirtan. It is, nama-sankirtan he heard, he heard bhagavata. Teacher is Sukadeva. There also reverential. Confidential you'll find in kirtan. In kirtan you'll find. And the smarana, also you'll find. Less are only reverential. So the reverential method was taught by Lord Krishna, Lord Narasimha and other avatarams. The avatarams. But the Krishna, confidential way of worship was taught by Krishna only up to his youth. When he was young it is different. So, that way of worship was none, nobody has taught it. Confidential way. It is prema, prema. It is only Lord Chaitanya. So we must follow Lord Chaitanya's. How? Lord says: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Do nama kirtan. That nama-kirtan will take you to the highest form of worship, greatest form of worship, prema, will come here. The gopis when Krishna called them, the Gopis ran, leaving their fathers, leaving their husbands, leaving their children, leaving everybody they ran to Krishna. This sort of worship is confidential and it is called prema. It is called prema. There Krishna up to his 12th or 10th year till balya, pauganda, kaisora. Kaisora. To kaisora. And then yauvana. When he returned from there to Mathura that is reduced. That prema is reduced. Though there is that prema but it is reverential prema. But confidential prema is great. And by it Krishna will come to the field. And the people should follow the gopis or gopalas. How the gopis worship Krishna? And how the gopalas worship? Gopalas were fighting, fighting ... There the confidence more. So that prema, unless the prema, we discover that prema, and we follow that prema we cannot understand the real Lord's position and ours position. He doesn't care for his position. He will only care for the Lord. Prema, these devotees don't care for themselves. The gopis don't care. When they heard the flute of Krishna, they are all running, they can serve their husbands, everybody will serve them and they were doing the confidential service, of their husbands? They left it. And they flied. So they say, they never rope(???) dilute, this cows were tied, they were not left. The children they are crying for food. The husbands, they have given the food to their husbands. They have not eaten. And some were boiling food for them and it was not completed. No. They ran away. They said: where are you going? Where are you? No reply. No reply. They cannot have it. In their nature they cannot have it. It is the nature of, their nature of gopis, their nature is that, to satisfy Krishna, to please Krishna. At any cost. To please Krishna is their goal. That Krishna and all of them came there. Krishna says "Oh, you have come. You have left your husbands, left your children, left your elderly, old people. You have not served them. You have come. So, go! Please return". Krishna, he asked them to go. "Now you have seen me and you have satisfied yourself. You go." ?? Then the question is where shall we go? Where shall we go? Where we have come? We have to come to you, always, we are with you. We have not come. We are always with you. Now you have asked us to go back. No! We will never do that." They did not go. They remained there. What happened about the children, what happened at the cows - they are dying, they have not even untied them. They have left. So, that sort of devotion is wanted. That sort of devotion was told by Krishna, but Krishna told, but now Gauranga Mahaprabhu has practiced it. Krishna himself as Gauranga has given and he practiced it. Said that. And the devotees, vaisnavas, they followed it.
krsnotkirtana-gana-nartana-parau premamrtambho-nidhi
dhiradhira-jana-priyau priya-karau nirmatsarau pujitau
sri-caitanya-krpa-bharau bhuvi bhuvo bharavahantarakau
vande rupa-sanatanau raghu-yugau sri-jiva-gopalakau
Nityanada's kripa, all the Vaisnavas now have become pure Vaisnavas. The pure devotion is that. They go to the Lord not to come back from the Lord. When the Lord said you go back, you have seen me, you go away. Then they replied: "where shall we go? Where shall we go?" Krishna cannot reply. "To your home." Which is our home?" "There in your village. Your husbands are there. Your fathers are there. And old people are there. And you cows are crying. Have been tied." And now, "Go there." "No. No. We have not come to go there. We have come here. Our destiny is that we should come here. We have seen you here, people come to the Lord and have the Darshan of the Lord and "Go back". No, no. We will never go back. We will always be here. You cannot drag us." So that should be the devotion, taught by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Krishna when he was at Vrindavan up to 11th or 12th year. In that kaumaram, kaumara. And then he is only Supreme. Then Krishna went to Mathura, went to the battlefield, you read of gita, bhagavatam and ... that. Gita's teachings are different and bhagavata teaching is different. Now, Gita everybody reads and they like it and they can understand the meaning of Gita. But bhagavatam you cannot understand.
yad vaisnavanam priyam yasmin paramahamsyam ekam amalam jnanam param giyate
Then they are not teaching you jnana. Yes. Paramahamsa jnana. It is not the jnana of non-paramahamsas. It is the jnanam, knowledge, of paramahamsas. So, you have to accept it. yatra paramahamsam ekam amalam, amala jnanam - very pure jnanam.
tatra jnana-viraga-bhakti-sahitam naiskarmyam avisktam
Naiskarmya is moksam. aviskritam. It will come. They will accept the moksa. In bhagavat-gita, mahabharata it is told up to moksa to the last. You practice bhakti, you get moksa. You practice bhakti, you go beyond that practice bhakti. bhakti arca bhajanam Bhajana - always you do bhajan. For what? For bhajan. Bhajan for bhajan. Bhakti for bhakti. Prema for prema. The deep meaning of the bhagavata only can be understood by gopis. None else. Supreme. Gopis can understand loving bhakti. Unless you follow gopis, and you become a gopi. The gopi want the welfare of the Lord. Let the Lord be happy, Krishna be happy. At any cost. We will suffer. We'll suffer. We are not going to subside our suffering for bhakti. No. We will suffer. We will suffer for suffering. We'll suffer. Without suffering how can you practice devotion? For what? For only the same bhakti. Lord's bhakti, loving bhakti, love. It is a transcendental love. The love which has no place in this world. The love which has a place in Vrindavan. And here also it can be Vrindavan. But as our position is, which we have the conception, our conception is pure prema conception. Krishna conception. Everywhere Krishna's conception. That Krishna saw that. He says: "Why you have come here?" "To fulfill your order. As you said come." Krishna, the flute(shows the gesture of playing), "all the gopies, you should come now!" Then they never wait even one minute more in the house. Though they are seeing these boys are suffering, the cows are suffering, old people are suffering, fathers and grandfathers, like that, who are suffering, they don't care. Would you able to do that bhakti? Unless you do that bhakti you cannot understand Krishna bhakti. Krishna bhakti is that. It is the teaching of Mahaprabhu. Chaitanya Mahaprabhu says, Krishna bhakti. Do Krishna bhakti for Krishna bhakti. For Krishna bhakti. You are doing Krishna bhakti? No. It is not full. So, you have to do it. You have to do it. Krishna's, to please Krishna is Krishna bhakti. There while fighting, fighting, these Kauravas and Pandavas, this Kuruksetra fighting, Karna's wheel of the chariot went down. Then Karna was lifting it and asking Arjuna to stop fighting. "Don't send arrows." Krishna says: "What are you saying? Fellow!" "How can I Sir? He has no. He has no weapons in his hands. He is lifting the chariot. And our dharma, yuga-dharma doesn't tell us to fight with such enemies who fall flat. And who sit down and give up their arrows and weapons and sit. But now he has no weapon in hand and how can I do?" " Oh, you know dharma?" dharmasya tattvam nihitam guhayam mahajano yena gata sa pantha. Fellow! dharmasya tattvam nihitam guhayam . It is not floating here and there. It is very deep. Very deep. Unless mahatma to bless. Bhaktas to bless. So devotion cannot be had through knowledge, through physical labor, all physical fastings or yogas. No. Cannot. And how? It can be held only through the blessings of sadhus. Sadhus, those who are bhakta sadhus, premik sadhus. Those who have got Krishna prema. They will bless you. They will bless you when they see that he is fit to be blessed. They will, they know it then. With mahatma's blessings only you can develop bhakti, you can get bhakti, you can come in touch with bhakti. Then by, not by writing books you will get, or spending money and giving prasada distribution to all. No! No! You cannot. It is only the devotee's blessing. They should bless you. Sir! Through their blessing only your knowledge will go. You will throw it, that knowledge, you don't want that knowledge. Knowledge, so much knowledge. You cannot get! Even one who has got that knowledge he cannot get. You only must be blessed by that devotee who has attained that parananda. The ananda? There is beyond ananda they get, that parananda. The knowledge, kick out that knowledge. What ananda, what knowledge that gopies acquired? They kicked it. They kicked their relatives. Even father and mother they kicked. They went away. So, that kind of devotion must be taught. Many of these western people, they, they, some they know, but they don't come to that stage where they can actually get the blessings and know it. Past them. They cannot get it. Now you are western people. How can you attain it? It is not for the western people. But we have no other way. Though you kick us you must bless us. The devotees must bless us. So, but we are now happy to see you all, you western people. They have no knowledge of actual dharma. To some extent they can have attachment towards this devotion. Attachment to devotion. And the Lord, Supreme Lord must help them and bless them. And by that other great souls, mahatmas come to their assistance and bless us. So it is all devotion, devotion. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna. They have no faith. Adau sraddha tatah sadhu- sangah. They must always run for sadhus. Those, they will do harinamam. They must wait for their blessings. They must weep for their blessings. You must do deep labor for recieving the blessings of sadhus. Always Sadhus blessings, always. No satisfaction in devotion. No satisfaction. You see, all these Vaisnavas they had no satisfaction. They always weep, weep, they were crying for, crying for.
keno va achaya prana ki sukha paiya narottama dasa keno na gelo mariya
Narottama Thakur says nagelo mariya. Why am I living? What for? What for I am surviving? I must be dying. So, this is not easy. Though they are deeply concerned with their Lord always, yet they say why? hari hari! boro sela marame rahilo. paiya durllabha tanu, sri krsna bhajana vinu,. janma mora viphala hoilo. I have got this human body. It is useless to me now. Because through that body I could not achieve the goal. If I die, nobody can give me. You don't know how many births I made and I want, I want to be like a flower. Easily that flower approaches the feet of the Lord. I also. No, no. You cannot so easily. All these devotees, they have reached, they have reached, but they are not satisfied. They never feel happy "because we reached". No, no. Though they reached they are only crying for that. Crying for that. The other process, yoga process. With yoga process they get some symptom. That symptom gives some satisfaction. No. Here no symptom. No symptom. He may see the Lord yet he thinks "I have not seen. I have not seen." Such is the devotion. Devotion. This devotion is called prema. When I get prema then I feel always unhappy. Unhappy. Happiness, though there is a cause, yet he doesn't feel happy. He is always weeping. He doesn't weep. You cannot see such a devotee. You cannot see such a devotee. You must see that you go to Vrindavan. You can have that. You can see. Now, very good and according to our fortune we could hear something about that, but because though I am 92 years, I am unable. I have got experience of this institution 70 years. I have got it. But I don't say all these things. Why? Why? I want, people must kick me out. Refuse me. They should. I must accept it. Always. And still when? I don't know. The Lord's blessing. When? Who knows? I don't know. I have not come here to collect some money from you. No. That cannot give me satisfaction. Because money, I will get money and go and tommorow I will fight for that money. So it is a worldly matter. A worldly matter. We should not want that. We want only you. Lord we want your blessing. Please bless me. Always bless me. Till he kisses me also he must be wept for blessings. Though he kisses you. Nobody can understand it. Though he has come to that stage he is not happy that I have come to a stage and Lord Krishna kisses me. No. I must. I am unfit. I am unfit. Please bless me for that. No satisfaction. There is no satisfaction in devotion. No satisfaction. If you get freedom, moksa, you will have satisfaction. But it is not that satisfaction. It is not Krishna prema. Krishna prema is always dissatisfied. No satisfaction. If satisfaction comes, he will leave out, "yes, I have obtained". He is going. No. All our Vaisnavas, they always weep. Vaisnavas, they do nama-sankirtan and that nama
sankhya-purvaka-nama-gana-natibhih kalavasani-krtau
They spend their time, their time, 24 hours, sankya purvata nama bharau. The number. 1 lakh number daily. Then for 2 or 3 hours singing the songs and nama gana nati , nati - prostrations. ki mora kartavya, prabhu kara upadesa
Why I have to remain out of my house? Now I left my wife, my father, my mother, my wealth. Why? What shall I do now? And Mahaprabhu asked Svarup Damodar. What does he say? He says: Why you have brought him here? And what is his duty? What he has to do now? Then. Will he follow me? Will he carry my order? Yes. Then he asked Ragunath, Mahaprabhu says, that you follow him. Yes, yes, follow him. Then Mahaprabhu said bhala na khaibe don't eat good dishes, clothes, not good clothes, bhala na paribe amani manada hana krsna-nama sada and always you must be humble and do nama-kirtan. Always nama-kirtan. Never gave a time for him to eat, to dream, sleep or take food. Nothing. He followed it. He used to beg. Mahaprabhu criticized it. And he gave it up. Then he used, throughout the day he was doing namam. And in the evening or sunset he stands at the gate of Jagannath. Bhaktas coming with prasadam. He did not ask. They will give it to him. That also Mahaprabhu remarked. Then he left out standing at the gate for food. He gave up. And now on the south side, south, southern gate. There was a big tub where the prasad that was unsold, it was trown there. Now daily he comes there and in the morning rice that is under this, waters and eats, and he just washes and little salt on it. Mahaprabhu heard now what he is doing. This is the way. To collect some. Very good. He is eating prasad. So one day while he was doing that he went, he was lifting the rice and putting on a leaf, and he was collecting. Now here Mahaprabhu came and sat. Yes, he was eating. When he saw Mahaprabhu eating, he said: No Mahaprabhu why you have to eat this rice?. You are eating prasad. So, why do you, why do you have to do that? And after that he gave it up. And what does Mahaprabhu? He was sitting for Mahaprabhu. Day and night what Mahaprabhu is doing. ... All throughout the night he was closed doors. He was weeping. Weeping for the Lord. Weeping for the Lord. So he was just collecting the news. Mahaprabhu was inside the room. They, Svarupa Damodara, Raya Ramananda and others. They are watching there. They were outside, they are sleepy. Mahaprabhu has gone away. The doors are closed. He has gone. When? When Mahaprabhu? Noise, no noise. Then they opened the door. Mahaprabhu is not there. So they went. They were going to find out where is Mahaprabhu. They see Mahaprabhu lying, cows that lays like that. And among those cows he is laying. Body is ten feet long. And now when bhaktas go there. Sit down him, and weep and do namam. Mahaprabhu get up and. Why you have come here? Mahaprabhu you were here. Mahaprabhu now comes back to the room. Everything is news. Everything is collected by him. No paper and pencil. Only the heart. Anybody must get the news of Mahaprabhu. Mahaprabhu fell in the sea, where is big waves and 10 o'clock. Night, 10 o'clock, Mahaprabhu went alone. Nobody sees that. No. And fell into the. And throughout the night he was floating in that sea. ... Early in the morning where fisherman with the net. In that net he was caught. He was caught at six o'clock. Early morning. And he dragged the very heavy and thought there must be good fish there. Very good. But when he dragged to shore he thought. Misfortune. So he removed that body and threw that net upon ... and returned going to his house. On the way he saw these people who are going in search of Mahaprabhu. He saw them. What happened? Sir, I am a fisherman, a poor fisherman. I thought today I have got good fish but it is not fish. Dead body. And the devil has entered into me. Because I touched him when I removed the net. Now you can know some mantra to tell me. I have number of children. How can they live without me? When Svarupa Damodar saw it, put a slap on his head and the devil has gone. Now you are all right. Go. That body is not so. That body if anybody it is Mahaprabhu. ... I have seen Mahaprabhu. Always I see Mahaprabhu. ... Very wide. Very stout creature. Because ten hours, 2 hours and six, 8 hours he was in water. So where is that? On the shore. In the shore. They cleaned his body. After sometime, one hour or two, Mahaprabhu sat and said why you are here? Now you are from our place it is six, nights you have come. The waves have brought you. Here fisherman caught you. Caught you and he went back. ... very good ... So these are not to be seen by ordinary people. These are only the high-level devotees. Those devotees, they can have. So Ragunath was there when Mahaprabhu left this world. He wanted to go away to Vrindavan to break his head on Govardhan. Svarup Damodar, Rai Ramananda. Not them. Rupa, Sanatana, brothers, two brothers - they said don't do that. Don't kill yourself. Always you be here. We will construct a hut for you. So stay in that hut and do bhajan. So he used to do bhajan. That was how he stayed there. All the vaisnavas followed him. There is no food. When Mahaprabhu went away he never took. Only taken some curd and ... After some time Rupa, Sanatana went away. Then also he left. He was eating only water. Water. On that water he survived. Why is that? He was only eating some water, Radha-kunda drink and nothing else. He used to do 1000 sashtang dandavats. Can you, a man who eats follow such 1000 thousand daily and fast? Up and down, up and down. This is how all bhaktas, all Vaisnavas, they never care for food, never care for ..., nothing. Always, they are doing namam always. So that is how bhajan daily. We do bhajan? Do we do bhajan? No bhajan. He said harinam, hare krishna to show others(shows fingers chanting). The heart is full of filth. Not pure heart. ...fault of Kama, Krodha. Kama - desire, krodha - anger, lobha - greed, moha -forgetfullness, and mada - arrogance, matsarya - All these he cannot give up. Malice, Malice. I forget. These things, six enemies are in us everybody. We must capture those enemies, control those enemies through harinamam. They will come. They want to destroy our bhajan. Then only we can do it. Because you are following this cult, so I have to tell you detail otherwise, what is the time? Now we will stop? Details we have told you. And thereafter six enemies. You must be very careful with those six enemies. Those enemies if you conquer then easily your bhajan will move. So always Narottama says
keno va achaya prana kichu bali
Why you are still alive? Why? O life, he is asking his life. Why you are still alive? Give up all this. Now we have to control. The most is malice. The malice is matsarya. Very important enemy. Very strong enemy. Malice. So, if you can control six enemies than you can have it in this life to some extent. And now I will stop here. Please excuse me. It is late for you also because you have to go again to work.
